Sustainability + Environmental Policy

Our commitment to sustainability is embedded directly into our foundations

We reject the legacy "Big Agency" bloat, not just in our workflows, but in our environmental and social impact.

1. Formal Sustainability Strategy: Environment + Society

AIPX maintains a formal business strategy driven by core sustainability principles, ensuring our growth positively impacts both the planet and our people.

  • The Environment: We operate a cloud-first, paperless, and remote-optimised business model specifically designed to minimise our carbon footprint. By structurally bypassing the need for massive, constantly powered office floors and daily commutes, we drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.

  • The Society: Socially, our business model focuses on transitioning historically low-wage, manual execution labour into high value “Orchestration” roles. We are committed to digital upskilling, ensuring fair and responsible remuneration, and maintaining a modern, flexible environment that elevates our workforce rather than exploiting it.

2. Our Remote Footprint

Commuting and maintaining physical office spaces are two of the biggest contributors to a traditional carbon footprint.

  • Decentralised Operations: By championing a remote and hybrid working environment, we eliminate the daily transit emissions of our core team and specialist contractors. It also enables us to work with the best minds globally, instead of geographically limiting our talent pools.

  • Virtual Collaboration: We prioritise virtual meetings and digital war rooms over unnecessary travel. While client facing travel is sometimes essential, it is strategically consolidated to avoid wasteful transit.

3. A Strictly Paperless Ecosystem

The days of printing out contact reports, massive brand decks, and physical invoices are dead. AIPX is a paperless environment.

  • Digital Administration: From signing NDAs and Service Level Agreements to processing leave and expenses via the Talent Portal, all administrative functions are 100% digital.
  • Financial Processing: We utilise HubDoc and Xero for all receipt and invoice capturing. No physical paper trails are required or encouraged for accounting purposes.
  • Creative Assets: Briefs, storyboards and design iterations are managed entirely through our cloud-based infrastructure (Google Drive, myln, Jira) rather than physical media.
  • Physical Campaign Outputs (The Exception): When client work dictates physical collateral, such as billboards, flyers, out-of-home advertising, or environmental design, printing is permitted. In these instances, we commit to sourcing sustainable, recycled or low-impact materials wherever feasible and we actively seek out print and production partners who share our environmental standards.

4. Cloud-First Efficiency + Digital Waste

Digital real estate consumes massive amounts of energy through data centres. We are committed to optimising our digital footprint.

  • Lean Infrastructure: We operate a cloud-first architecture, leveraging enterprise partners (like AWS and Google Cloud) that have committed to renewable energy and carbon-neutral data centres.

  • Data Hygiene: We encourage routine digital clean-ups. Archiving redundant files, deleting obsolete drafts, and optimising heavy assets reduces unnecessary server load and the energy required to store it.

  • Ethical AI Utilisation: When leveraging AI to speed up frictionless tasks, we use optimised, purposeful prompts and efficient models to prevent excessive, unnecessary computational energy drain and water waste.

5. Hardware Lifecycle + E-Waste

The tools of our trade; laptops, monitors, cameras, and mobile devices contain heavy metals and toxins that cannot end up in landfills.

  • Sustainable Purchasing: When procuring new hardware, we prioritise devices with strong environmental certifications and extended lifespans.

  • End-of-Life Management: No company owned electronic device will ever be disposed of in standard trash. All obsolete or broken hardware must be handed over to management for certified e-waste recycling or refurbishment.

  • Repurposing: Whenever possible, technology that no longer meets the high performance demands of our developers or editors is wiped, refurbished, and donated or repurposed for lighter administrative tasks.

6. Sustainable Procurement + Partnerships

Our commitment to the environment extends to our supply chain.

  • Vendor Alignment and B Corp Standards: We expect our vetted network of freelance experts, production studios, and software vendors to share our commitment to ethical, sustainable, and fair-labour practices. Our supply chain due diligence is aligned with B Corp standards and the Modern Slavery Act, ensuring our vendors strictly avoid exploitative labour, conflict areas, and conflict minerals.

  • Swag and Consumables: When producing physical goods (e.g., client gifts, event collateral, or team swag), we actively avoid single use plastics and prioritise sustainably sourced, recycled or highly durable materials.
